Who Can Apply

  • Passed class 12th/equivalent examination in 2024, 2025, or appearing in 2026.
  • No age limit for candidates appearing in the JEE Main examination.
  • Must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational subject.
  • There is no minimum percentage required to appear for the exam, but 75% is required for admission into NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs (65% for SC/ST).

  • Scanned passport-size photograph (10 kb to 200 kb, JPEG/JPG format)
  • Scanned signature (4 kb to 30 kb, JPEG/JPG format)
  • Class 10th and 12th Marksheets/Certificates
  • Category certificate (if applicable, 50 kb to 300 kb)

Exam Pattern (B.E./B.Tech) Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT) Duration: 3 hours Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Total Questions: 90 (You need to attempt 75) Section A: 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) per subject. All are mandatory. Section B: 10 Numerical Value Questions (NVQs) per subject. You must attempt exactly 5 per subject. Marking Scheme: $+4$ for correct, $-1$ for incorrect, and $0$ for unattempted. This negative marking applies to both MCQs and NVQs.
